This weekend, the UK’s favourite bridal magazine came to life at a wedding planning experience like no other with over 130 luxury suppliers and inspiring ideas. Brides The Show was in full swing and featured catwalk shows showcasing top designers – including Browns Brides, Ian Stuart, Stephanie Allin, Naomi Neoh and Kate Halfpenny, bridal expert workshops, wine tastings, beauty master classes, champagne and much more.
It was a real honour to be invited to present a session On the Sofa on the Sunday. My talk, Wow pieces! A guide to left field ideas that will guarantee a memorable big day, discussed must-have features for creating high-impact impressions on your wedding day. For those who’d like a recap – here’s a handy little video refresher, courtesy of the rather wonderful Go Forth Wedding Films.
Thanks ever so much to the editorial team at Brides for having me; it was a real pleasure to share some of my tips of the trade and meet a host of brides -to-be. As promised, here’s a link to my Pinterest board that is crammed with pins all based on the features that we discussed on Sunday!
I always love a mooch at what the wedding world has to offer. Brides The Show never disappoints; I had a fabulous time meeting with some of my favourite suppliers after delivering my speech. Plus, the opportunity to connect with some I’ve coveted for a long time (yes, you Ian Stuart!), as well as sampling the stands of some newer suppliers I’m now desperate to add to my Little White Book! A picture tells a thousand words; here are my visual highlights for your viewing pleasure.
